    What A Beautiful Ending!
I find this movie one of my childhood favorites I was only 7 to 8 yrs old when it came out used to watch it loads on video back when modern technology YouTube did not exist. On 100th anniversary mum and I watched it in 3d and recently watched it again together for 25th year since it was released it even went on my own to see it again as its just so epic I just feel like I could watch it over 100 times.

You literally feel like you're on the ship especially when Jack Rose are trapped in the flooded deck then finally escape as well as when the ship rises like a Beni dorm skyscraper with all passengers screaming in agony and falling hitting into one another then seeing Rose Jack faces also their breathing you can just feel the fear terror in them big time especially when Rose goes OH GOD three times made my heart race fast as well as my hands getting hot and sweaty. The last brilliant part was when Molly encouraged her acquaintances to go back and gave that officer a piece of her mind and he gave it back to her.

My favorite scenes are when Jack says hardly any rats having dinner with 1st class passengers, Molly Brown saying when somebody lights a fire as well as her saying to Jack you shine up like a new penny that's such a sweet moment. Now both these scenes always get Cinema audience in stitches when Rose spits in Cals face then punches that guy in the face when she is trying to rescue Jack then him and Rose breaking that door down yelling to that steward SHUT UP.

The gripping sad scenes is when Rose Jack try to rescue that little boy and his father then they all get swept away also grand staircase sinking with the song Building Panic by the late great James Horner literally the passengers screams are just so bone chilling heart wrenching with nowhere for them escape as well as all the windows smashing dome exploding now those scenes really knocked my eyes out.

Even one or two Cinema employees come watch the Ship final moments as well as Old Rose final hours but still gives good vibe as its such a classic heartbreaking film to watch especially at the end when Old Rose chucks necklace into the sea. Then the song a life so changed that really made me cry and probably the whole cinema room as it just reflects what she went through in her time even had a good life like when Jack said to her That You're going to have loads of children travel the world and die in a warm comfy bed then when Rose theme comes on when she slipped away peacefully made my eyes weep then stop as its just a sad beautiful ending.

A moving movie that will be remembered for the rest of my life
"TITANIC" is a love story modeled after the actual "Titanic sinking."The movie depicts a tragic love between Rose, a famous daughter, and Jack, a poor young man. They are tossed about by a cruel fate. I watch this movie because my mother likes it and she recommends it to me. I recognize that it is a movie loved by generations. I fall in love with Jack's innocent and manly behavior. I really like him. In an era when class differences were so great, I want to root for these two as they fall in love beyond their social classes. I'm also moved by the way Rose gradually opens up to Jack as a result of his proactive actions. You will want to fall in love after you finish watching the movie.

    Proof I Love My Wife
I remember reluctantly going to see this movie with my wife in 1998. I knew it was a romance and I knew women were going ga-ga for it which was enough for me to NOT want to watch it. But I loved/love my wife (STILL TOGETHER).

All I was in the theater for was to see an epic, first-of-its-kind visual effects-ship sink. And it took TOO LONG to happen. I had to sit through the rich girl (Kate Winslet) bored with her life and bored with her rich suitor (Billy Zane) just waiting to have fun. Then, along comes the poor, yet full of life, Jack (DiCaprio), to show her a good time and sweep her off her feet.

Same Hollywood message from the 30's: rich people have money, but poor people have all the fun.

    Please.

But like the comedian Roy Woods Jr. Said: "Titanic was about a woman who had "lovin'" (my euphemism) so good that she remembered it eighty years later." LOL!

Once we got to ship sinking time I was all in. All James Cameron had to do was shave about an hour off of this three-plus hour movie and it would've been cinematic perfection!

    Clever Story LIne
The movie was quite excellent, but I'm taking off a point due to some deficiencies that cause it to limp to port. The first is the beginning of the movie where we see the salvage ship and manned submersible. To me this was a bit of a yawn and took away from the story.

The movie should have started with a professor Lovett lecturing maritime museum attendees about famous ship wreck and then come to the Titanic display. He could then describe the construction of the Titanic not letting on plans to find it. Then flashback to the planning and building of the ship and voyage back in the day. I would rather have seen the crew on board the salvage ship yakking it up while going over the ghostly camera views of the ship as it lies on the ocean floor.

The movie theme song, which evoked Irish folk music, did not give the viewer any other connection to Ireland either. It's ghostly tone would have played well panning over the graveyards to give an appreciation of the victims.

Another big problem was the older Rose who recounted the story on the salvage ship did not look 101 years old! She looked about 84 years old and would have been but a baby at the time of the Titanic. In no way would she have been able to be transported by helicopter to the salvage ship to tell the story. To me, this mistake sunk the movie at the outset because it is the old lady that gives one a sense of how long ago the ship sank. So if Rose was 16 years old at that time, this movie would have been appropriate for the year 1981, not 1997. In 1997, the older Rose should have been in a nursing home in a wheelchair and being help along to tell the story. At the very least the make-up artists should have aged the Rose character actress by 16 years to make her really look like a 101 on the ship. Notice the older Rose was far to alert and animated for someone that age. If you've lived to be 100 years old or older, you're talking much slower. All that said, it is interesting that the actress who play the older Rose, was actually 87 at the time of the movie and actually lived to be 100 in real life! Also, she was born in Santa Monica which Dawson mention in the movie regaling one of his adventures. The casting really was spot on in this movie, she just needed a little more time in the makeup room to look the part and should have talked slower and tired.

Leo and Kate put in a good performance in the movie, and the cast was generally excellent, but to me Brad Pitt would have been a far more credible choice for Jack Dawson as a dashing, adventure-seeking lad. Frankly, Kate looked third class so I had more of a problem imaging her as upper class of that era. She certainly would not have been fetching enough for a Brad Pitt as Dawson. So for me that was a bit of an issue.

The special effects may have been state of the art for 1997, but to me I never felt like I was on the ship. There was no mist spray in the face or rain falling on the deck. The set fan wind and cgi dolphins did not do it for me and I don't think they can survive in cold water just above freezing like Dawson described it. So the elements of nature were never really brought into the movie until the end. At that point it is too late to draw the viewer into the movie and the viewer is asked to believe all that happens then. In summary, the movie should have made sure the viewer was on the ship long before the sinking.

There should also have been a little more character development of the famous people on the ship explaining how they boarded it other than just the fictional character portrayed by Leo.

I rewatched it in 3D and it was truly legendary!
After its first debut in theatre in 1997, I went to see it 3 times. I rewatched it many many many times after that on CD, DVD, cables, streamings, etc. Probably more than 30 times already throughout these years. Last night, I rewatched it in 3D at home with 3D glasses and I'd have to say, the cinematography is truly legendary! The depth is amazingly on point considering that the film was shot far before 3D technology becomes popular. Cameron made a truly amazing film. The detail of those productions in the film also needs to be applauded. And in 3D, you can see the emotions of the actors and extras very clearly and thus, the emotion hits you in the face. The flooding scenes were very real.. actually, every scenes were so believable. I'm impressed again every time I rewatched it with the skills of this director. This film is purely a masterpiece!

    Good movie
Titanic is a film written and directed by James Cameron where it talks about the R. M. S. Titanic, a cruise, his destiny and two young lovers. The film based on real facts premiered in 1997 with great success. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane.

The action takes place in 1912 when the most luxurious ever created cruise was created, the Titanic, and it's making its first trip from England to the United States. In the ship we get to know our main character, Jack Dawson and his romantic interest, Kate Winslet. The woman being from a well standing family and the man a simple worker. There also appears Cal Hockley, the man with whom Kate had pre-arranged marriage, and it's there to antagonize our protagonist.

It's a very emotional film, but it also has some action which makes it more enjoyable, the only bad thing is that it lasts more than three hours. I recommend seeing Titanic because it's a classic.

    A MUST WATCH!
This movie truly broke my heart. Jack and Rose face great difficulties (her being an aristocrat and him poor) but they still continue to fight fo their love no matter what. We first see an old lady which we later on know is Rose. She sees on the TV the drawing of her that Jack had made when thenews was talking about the Titanic shipwreck. She then goes on to call the news and tell her story.84 years ago on April 10th 1912, 17 year old Rose is on board on the Titanic ship along with her mom, grandma, and fiance, Caledon, (all of who'm were nobelty/aristocrats). Rose feels helpessly trapped by her situation ( marrying her snobby fiancé, Caledon) and tries to commit suicide by hanging off the edge of the deck until she was rescued by Jack. Jack is then invited by Caledon to a dinner amongst the rich in return for his heroic action. He goes through the evening acting his best at being rich. Jack then takes Rose down to the third-classe's party, where they dance endlessly. Shockingly, one of CaLedon's spies had followed them and informed him of his fiance's sneaking around. Rose was intruiged by Jack's drawings and so she asks him to draw her nude wearing the diamond necklace Caledon gave her. Caledon finds out and had plotted against Jack, he falsely accussed him of theft and had him locked away. Not long after, the ship encounters an iceberg which threatens to wreck it apart. Panic overflows the ship as the crew/staff takes safety precautions, giving people life vests. Soon, the lower parts of the ship begin to drown. Jack is in danger and so Rose is in panic to rescue him from the room in which he is in chains in. She manages to get an axe and breaks the chains. The water was almost head-level. They both swim upwards and get to the top of the ship. Boats were getting filled up, women and children going first. Caledon ushers Rose to go in, promising her that Jack was going to be safe. She doesn't believe him and returns back for Jack. Caledon, furious, chases after Jack and Rose with a gun in his hand. Fortunately all his shots miss and they manage to escape to the top of the ship. Caledon soon fakes having a child in order to board a boat. At this point, the Titanic's end was titing upwards at an extreme angles, people were falling off whilst others were lucky enough to clang onto stuff. Jack and Rose hold on to the top of the ship and get ready to dive into the deep, freezing water. Fortunately, Rose;s life vest allowed her to swim a bit more easily, can not say the same for Jck though. Rose clings onto a wooden boards whilst Jack is barely holds on to it. They pass out and by the time help comes, it was way too late... Jack had frozen to death. Unknowing of that fact, Rose tries to shake him awake until she comes into the shocking realization. Jack drops t the deep ocean, his corpse becoming a part of the ocean. She is then rescued by the crew and taken back. All the survivors from the Titanic are saved by the RMS Carpathia.
