    Time Differential...
In INTERSTELLAR, the Earth has been ravaged by blight and catastrophic dust storms. Many millions have died, and the ability to grow food deminishes drastically with each passing year. All appears hopeless, but something is happening that just might save the world. Something astonishing.

Director Christopher Nolan has reached new heights in science fiction cinema, creating what is arguably the best genre film since Kubric's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. He's also managed to fill his movie with a heart and soul, not just incredible special effects.

Yes, these effects are jaw-dropping-ly good. There's also a fantastic adventure in outer space, as well as on alien worlds, full of action, suspense, and many surprises. However, it's the human story, embodied by Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and his daughter, Murph, both young and grown up (Mackenzie Foy and Jessica Chastain), that makes it all work.

Spanning time and space, we are taken on an unforgettable journey, that is as emotionally draining as it is exhilarating. Mr. McConaughey brings his cool, laid-back demeanor to his role, giving off just the right amount of confidence, even in the most dire situations. The rest of the cast is perfect, making it all believable.

    A masterpiece of speculative moviemaking...
