Ish, this movie is so questionable.
I have a LOT of questions. First: the how magic is not part of ponies naturally?? Imprison in gems or whatever is bizarre same as you can imprison, well, possibility to create a spoon by tools in a tech-physical world from the mind of inhabitant there - you can (by lobotomy for example), but it wouldn't work on next generation without repeat. And if it works - eww, that's just creepy to think why. And if this world never was on magic standard does this mean it was all a lie? What happened to the princesses? Discord? Who in charge of rising sun and moon? Was that ever really necessary or also a lie?
Leaving creepypasta and conspiracy shishkebab, what happened to cutiemarks? Why just on one flank and so small? And it did not change after returning magic. Intrigue.
Why ponies became enemies again? Blamed each other in lost magic? Didn't seem so, it more they just separated by tribes after that happened without any rational reason and this is just sad, friendship my hay. I don' wanna know the fate of non-ponies then. - putriyohanasimbolon - 28 March 2022
I like this movie!
Although the story is a bit rushed and the explanation for the disappearance of the magic in Equestria has not been revealed.
In fact I think this movie is way better than that bad story of 2017 mlp G4 movie and also all of the episodes from season 9 of that sh1tty mlp fim.

Didn't make any sense
The movie it's self was kinda ok but i have so many questions okey twilight and her friends aren't alive anymore but the friendship faded away between the 3 species but at the ending of season 9 from my little pony all the species are united so it wouldn't make sense at all that in this timeline it's all been for nothing and it's all back to 0 now And what about princess flurry heart she was gonna be the next ruler of the cristal empire but in the 2021 movie there isn't even a Cristal empire if twilight and her friends got children their children would probably work on letting the magic of friendship stay but in this movie twilight and her friends are just a myth which doesn't make sense because even in that timeline family of the G5 is still supposed to exist for example their children or grandchildren .
9 years of my little pony friendship is magic all for nothing to end up with a movie that shows that all G5's work was wasted kinda made me sad.
