    Generic and mediocre.
    It is essentially.

Guy gets fired from army so a friend who is a mercenary gives him money to do a job however his friend backstabs him and tries to get him killed once the job is done. MC gets away with his life to then get revenge by killing his friend who set him up. It is a very bland and generic story plot that provides no real surprises. The character are very forgetful and unimaginative. The part that I suspect the writers thought would be a huge moment but ended up falling flat was when the MC realised that the people sent to kill him are fellow marines so they're killing there own men. Very forgetful movie that will have you yawning mid way through.

    Don't waste your time
The absolute worst movie and time spent waiting for a conclusion. Horrible acting and nothing even begins to happened until an hour into watching this crap. Horrible ending as well. Just awful- don't watch it. The lead doesn't find resolution and his best friend betrays him. Oh then he cannot even go home again. The entire movie lags on forever and gives you zero sense of resolution. I'm going in and on because it's required for a review but after spending an evening watching it- I feel that others need to know how much it sucks. Chris Pine should have a better agent. This entire thing stinks.

One Chris Pine Movie Not Worth Watching
Story was undeveloped and tired. Honestly, other than the fact that Chris Pine and Kiefer Sutherland still provided decent performances, there is nothing worth complimenting about this show. The thing is, the story doesn't have any credibility as to why the main character would even make the choices he did. And his character wasn't even developed enough to really help it make sense. There were several flashbacks to try to explain it, but it was still stupid and uncreative. Just chalk it up to a bad choice and move on because you're never going to get your two hours back. And don't let those blue eyes convince it could be fun.

    Saltine Cracker
The movie is stale and without any flavor what-so-ever. From start to finish the film contains drawn out scenes and dialogue that could have been left out. The story is all choppy, the music sucks, like, really sucks. The music is like the same tone and beat throughout the entire film. Actual ass. The color within the film is also bland, which doesn't make the movie bad in any regards, just a personal thing. The characters are weak, they feel airy. It's hard for me to feel any type of sympathy for the main character, played by Chris Pine, among other characters, played by ransoms. The movie is just really bland; the dialogue is bland, THE MUSIC IS BLAND, and the story is ass.

    Senseless
This film makes no sense at all. A bunch of American mercenaries killed a bunch of other people for a vaccine that is of unknown origins with unknown benefits, without any explanation how any of these people are related to this vaccine. Just plain dumb. Hope they lost a bunch of money to deter from producing such frivolous films. Waste of time. Really shows America in such a gloom light. I just hope that American marines have better things to do that go on killing rampages in their spare time.

If it wasn't for Chris pine , I'm sure this film would have a handful of people watching it. Just a waste of resources and money that could have been put to a much better use. In the future they should just donate to a good cause instead of wasting it.

    Contract: Mid-level Exception
Not on par with classics like "Bourne," not nearly as beastly as "Extraction," a simple story, a thriller, great acting, realistic action and ops work. Chris Pine is legit, again he's no Matt Damon or Chris Hemsworth, not even Chris Evans or Chris Pratt, but he's believable.

My boy Ben Foster is a monster per usual stealing scenes. Kiefer Sutherland is out here looking EXACTLY like his pops and LITERALLY acts and sounds just like him, he played a good role.

Again, it's no "13 Hours" or anything, but it is a great watch and it's very refreshing as their making so much glittery garbage these days.

This does not have any twists, no climactic third act, no memorable car chases, shootouts or fight scenes, no incredible dialogue or set pieces, just pretty solid acting and believable outcomes. Enjoy.
