    THOR & JANE TOGETHER AGAIN
I always say I'm a mythology nerd, but looking at the complaints. Listen if You love Thor & Jane's love. You will Like it.i think it's the 4th solo from Avengers. We as a family loved it. Unless you're knee deep like Sheldon & Lenard, its a movie, ok not a document, enjoy it. 600 letters,no wonder sounded like complaining, back in school at 52. Lol. Thor is hot. Christian Bale will always be JC(Jesus Christ)from son of Mary. As for Zeus attitude, Thor crashed his arena for help. I'm not shocked by response, just impressed they put them together. The End You're crying. If you like their love story.

    Even My Mom Cringed
It's the worst movie I've ever seen. I did have expectations after coming from the other 3 Thor movies which were decreasingly good, but still good enough for me to enjoy them. Sadly, this movie feels like it was made for 3-11 year olds, which is probably why it does have a high rating even if it is painful to watch for most people.

Even my mother cringed when watching it as she was expecting something more epic instead of this. The movie doesn't take itself seriously, and the plot is so weird. Just throw a thousand ideas into one movie and tie it together. The part with the kids feels so incredibly cheap, like something taken strange from Disney channel.

I think the biggest flop is that they tried to make it family friendly, but in doing that, they successfully made a movie for younger kids while totally forgetting about older fans (I'm thinking 14 and up).

    Borderline unbearable to watch
I need to be upfront and admit I'm not a huge fan of the MCU. I'm glad so many people enjoy these films, but I've always had a hard time getting into them. However, I really enjoyed the first Thor and thought the others were meh. But I went to go see this with my girlfriend opening weekend and couldn't believe how terrible it was.

First off, in general Marvel has zero idea how to effectively do humor. For example, in all the Avengers movies, nearly every character is written as witty comedians who can bust out a one-liner at the drop of a hat. For Tony Stark, it's believable due to the character and RDJ's natural charisma and cockiness (meant in a good way). However, if everyone is witty - nobody is witty. There are so many scenes in those films where the bulk of the dialogue between various superheroes is nothing but sarcasm and quips. They even do it in scenes that call for a more dramatic approach, which is wildly annoying.

I got off track, my apologies. So Love & Thunder continues this trend from the very start, and doesn't let up for the. Entire. Freakin'. Film. Again, moments that should be dramatic are ruined, because Marvel apparently has a quota on how many jokes or quips must be made per minute. The dialogue, in general, is no better.

The lone saving grace (but not enough to ever make me watch it again) is, of course, Christian Bale. I found his scenes compelling and emotional, as they should be. However, the constant tonal shifts completely take you out of the movie.

I'm genuinely surprised by the rating Love & Thunder has, most likely due to MCU stans. Good for them, I'm glad they liked it.

    Absolutely bad parody, but......
I actually thought this was a parody of a MCU movie but evidently it wasn't meant to be one. Weak plot with just about every trope you could imagine thrown in. Still uncertain as to whether or not Russell Crowe (as Zeus) was just over-acting or if that is how over the top the character was intended to be, but to be honest, everyone acting in this installment of the MCU just seemed to have purposely been mocking their past portrayals. In the long run all this ends up being is more or less a reason to cram as many past Marvel Cinematic Universe characters (and actors - actresses with a few new names and characters thrown in) into another film.

Enjoyable but they made it too casual
I am a really big fan of Thor. No doubt thor ragnarok was just awesome and it blew my mind. This movie has good action sequences but they focused more on love than thunder. Thor is all about thunder. And I think that all the limelight was on Jane. Chris hemsworth as usual played thor really well and so did Natalie portman. Christian bale really did a marvelous job. So the acting was good. I think this is a movie which you should watch at home. At the cinema you will feel that not the typical thor movie. So this is a casual movie which you can watch by yourself on a rainy day. I didn't like the ending because they made it alittle tragic but an okay movie after all. I think its better than the first and second part of Thor. But everyone has their own opinions.

Do yourself a favour and don't watch this movie
It'll be 2 hours of your life that you'll never get back. It has a (bad) joke about every 20/30 seconds which becomes so utterly draining and tedious. The lore of these characters is completely abandoned, particularly Tessa Thompson's character who was a force in recent Marvel movies but has been reduced to a cliche in this. It felt like an episode of FRIENDS with the schlocky zingers coming at you one-after-the-other. All it was missing was a laugh track, I swear.

Not only that, but the story is a complete bore. The ending is so ridiculous it might as well be a children's tv show - and sadly it was the only part of the movie that's not trying to make you laugh.

Taika Waititi proving his inability to competently direct a Thor movie.
So much potential in casting Christian Bale as Gorr, and he is by far the best thing in this movie.

Such a shame to waste that opportunity, because at times, this movie has really creepy vibes that would have made for a great Horror story. Instead, as soon as anything seems the slightest bit serious, there is a bad joke or dialogue befitting a character written by a 5-year old.

Unfortunately this seems to be what Marvel wants to make now. Not clever writing or a competent Hero going through a story arc that differs from the last entry for that same character. Just a lot of colours, poorly written plot and dialogue and bad directing. I do not fault the actors for this movie. It is what the director wanted.

    Missing Loki
The glaring thing between the first three Thor films and the fourth is that Loki is not a part of it. The relationship between the brothers was complicated and compelling. It made dialog between them rich and often comic.

For a time I've felt the proper titles should have been "Thor and Loki" since Loki was an integral part of the films.

That's a major difference in Thor Love and Thunder and Thor Ragnorok. Ragnorok is often attributed to the director, but I believe it wasn't just the comedy as much as finally a return to the close relationship between they shared at the beginning of Thor.

    'Nuff said'

    Nope 😩
Different is not always better. Sadly, this was almost like a bad try to make it more «funny», parody.or satire.

Was expecting the movie to be more like the others.

    The producers failed this time.

    Not in the Marvel spirit.

Sad to see so many good actors in a movie not worthy the first Thor movies.

Don't think I will bother seeing this movie twice.

Storyline was also quite thin and lots of the actors lines were cheesy.

Krossing my fingers about seeing the next Thor movie.

    Living up to Marvel-fans expectations.

As a long time Marvel-fan, I must say.. There were some highlights, making me smile, but not enough to waste my time seeing it once more.

Oh wow, this was really bad
I've seen some comments about the movie being bad, when it came out. Gave it a try today, didn't check imdb reviews before, just in case. I managed tow atch around 15-20 mins. I would say this is the worst Marvel movie, so far and likely for the foreseeable future. Taika Waititi shouldn't be allowed to direct movies. This movie is bad joke, consisting mainly of bad jokes. Non-stop tasteless and dry jokes. I mean NON. STOP. From that 15-20mins there was barely anything to watch just bad humour. I feel like someone screamed into my ear, thought it was funny and called it a movie. I actually feel violated. I was watching it during lunch and caught myself eating really fast jsut so I can get way from it. The comments I've seen were understatements. Someone said here as a review, that as a Deadpool director he might be okay. Nah, anything he directs I will stay FAAAR away from.
