    Near perfect movie
Near perfect movie based on actual true events. Everything is a top notch in this movie... Amazing story, tension, amazing dialogue, writing, scenery, all-star cast with great performances. I loved every minute of the movie, every character was a unique character and every actor's performance is amazing. If you especially love this kind of court-room movies especially ones based on actual historical events you will love this movie. Beside everything amazing in this movie there is a very strong messages and themes that is actually very familiar even with modern times.

Verdict: a nearly perfect movie that hits every single note right.

    9.5/10.

Interesting film that ends being just propaganda
OK, the film is well acted, the development and timing right, but...

...a film that reviews historical faits must be accurate. But this one presents the facts acceptable for everyone, including conservative-minded people, and forces the viewer to be on the side of the accused.

Goods and villains, the problem is not the system but a mad judge. This one also makes bind and muzzle the black man indicted. After that, the policemen ask him if he could breathe (black lives mattered int that time more than today?). And, of course, at the end we know that this judge was sanctioned. Remember, THE SYSTEM WORKS.

How can a radical hippy be nice to the eyes of the conservative white spectators? Showing the demonstrations withe people raising a US flag, this hippy one knowing the bible better than the rest of the people on the court, and making the lead roles remembering the fallen soldiers of the USA, and not the vietnamese ones, and, of course, not condemning the war, every war, like it would probably be defended by anti-Vietnam war demonstrators.

    Violence
First off this movie is rated R it is from 2020 it stars Sacha Baron Cohen Eddie readmore Yaya Abdul mateen

The director was Aaron Sorkin this movie was extremely violent full of foul language inappropriate subject matter drug references references to riots and clashes with the police this is definitely not a movie for anyone under 16 please do not let your under 16 kids watch this movie it will give them nightmares it is extremely potent

But I would have to say for those who are mature enough to understand it it was very very poignant and fact-filled it was about rights and the absolute denial of their rights the judge in this case was inept corrupt and stupid.

Good entertaining, great if you're from USA
I have to say, this is a good movie, but I realise that this is less significant not nostalgic to people outside the USA who didn't live that zeitgeist up close.

So if you reduce the sentimental load this should have on an audience, I'd give this a 6 for portraying (and dramatising) an historical event and the filmmaking added somewhat value to it, but not much to make me go wow. I've seen more impressive court-based movies.
