Crowd-pleasing moments disguise a pretty average superhero movie
Here's the recipe for "No Way Home":
    • A generous portion of fan service
    • A heavy dollop of sentimentality
    • Mix roughly with the multiverse
    • Serve on a bed of CGI

There is a fantastic idea the heart of this. Universes collide and every nemesis of Peter Parker is searching for him. Which means that the villains (and heroes) from the previous Spider-Man films end up in the current world. Willem Dafoe and Jamie Foxx in particular are fantastic in their roles.

There is some unexpected tragedy in the film, and the heroes of the past spend a lot of time reflecting on their own misfortunes. This has an emotional impact but does slow the film down at key moments.

There is far too much CGI (as usual) so you end up watching something closer to an animation or a video game at times, with scant regard for physics. Doing so much work in front of green screens really impacts the acting as well.

The biggest issue is the superhero story itself - the bit where the good guy overcomes the bad guy. All the multiverse nonsense struggles for logic and takes a long time to set up, and Spider-Man doesn't really spend enough time fighting the bad guys at the end. The action sequences are good but they feel like an afterthought.

This is a film for the fans. The neutrals (like me) may not get so much out of it.

    Spectacular, nostalgic and fun!
I remember that at the time of the film I was extremely anxious for months, because I knew we would have the surprise we had here, and the Spider-Man trilogy from the 2000s is incredible to me! I feel incredibly nostalgic watching it to this day. The quality of the older films was impeccable, and 2004's Spider-Man 2 is my favorite superhero film to date.

When this 2021 film came out, I watched it at the premiere, and what an incredible feeling! From start to finish I felt happy, surprised and joyful. Pure fanservice with lots of fun and homages. It's as if this film was a gift to people who followed the old films! The last hour of the film is a complete work of art. A very good film for people who were born in the 90s or earlier to feel happy and nostalgic. It's really worth it, pure entertainment! It's simply the most special film of the 21st century for me.

The Greatest Marvel Movie of All Time
This was a great idea of them adding all three Spider-Men. As well as adding back the old villains from previous movies, I loved it.

In my opinion, this is of the only superhero movies that did great using the Multiverse. As far as I see, there is no floss to this movie, Which I think this movie is one of the best Marvel movie if not superhero movies of all time.

Though I do not think that they should bring back Andrew Garfield, and Tubby McGuire Spider-Men back in the Spider-Man movie. I think the next movie should be about Tom Holland Spider-Man, trying to reconnect with his friends and people he works with.

But again, I think this movie is my top favorite superhero movies of all time.

    SpiderWimps: Superheroes Hugging And Crying
Yes, the big spoiler is here. Different Spidermen from the multiverse hug and cry in this film.

I am not some cold hearted jerk. Regarding Henry is one of my favorite movies. But it is a real story of redemption and healing. Superheros are grandiose beings. This film makes them too human to even be revered.

And that is only one of its problems. The plots are a mess, fight scenes are odd and nonsensical at times, lots of time spent talking on and on about the multiverse, weak characters (the current SpiderWimp is a menace). Jon Favero is very bad actor. Horrible. Totally unbelievable. Only slight bit of fun is Willem Dafoe reprising his role as The Green Gobin. He is so good, you forget for a minute or two you are watching a bad movie.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - Fanservice Done Right
The hype for this movie was immense when it came out and I have to say it didn't dissapoint. This movie is filled with great performances from Tom Holland, Willem Dafoe, Zendaya, and some who I can't get into without going into spoilers. This is an emotional journey filled with hype moments, tense moments, and absolutely devastating moments. The opening of the movie can feel a little rushed at times though. It feels like it is scrambling to get all the characters in their places for the 2nd and 3rd acts but in the end it isn't that big of a complaint. The score by Michael Giacchino as well as the cinematography are also really great aspects of this movie. This really is a cinematic experience that you don't want to miss.

The heart of the Spider Man series.
Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire are all great. But in the Tobey Maguire part of the series, there is something missing. I haven't watched the Andrew Garfield part because I'm only 9 years old and there may be some stuff in there that I can't see in it. But when me and my younger brother watched this part of the Spider-Man series, we fell in love with it. It's the most appropriate version your kid could ever see. We also watched all Spider-Man (2002), half of Spider-Man 2, and almost finished Spider-Man 3, and finished all the Tom Holland movies. But for sure, this is the best one.

    Absolutely loved it.
I think it's one of the best Spidey movies so far, it has everything you would want in a superhero movie. I was told not to watch it as it wasn't very good but that was so untrue, I loved it from start to finish and would recommend that you watch it. Awesome movie.

I don't want to say too much and give away spoilers but it has some very clever ideas and and a cool story line.

I don't go to the theater to watch it but it was just as enjoyable at home on my big screen tv, although the effects would be fantastic at the theater.

I'm looking forward to the next Spidey movie and hope it is as good as this was. Thanks.
