A bit of a snooze to be honest.
The cinematic equivalent of the eating too much over-cooked steak that's been prepared without any seasoning or flavour of any kind. It technically gets the job done and fills one's belly, but it's also just bland and a bit exhausting to work through.

Wrath of Man needed some flavour and it needed to be a little shorter/snappier. It's meat-headed in every way (which is why it put steak on my mind), and I guess it's technically a functional movie.

It feels like if it was any dumber or blunter, it would edge towards being a parody of generic Jason Statham movies. For a while, I was optimistic it would go somewhere or pick up the pace somewhat, but I don't know... to me, it was just a flat, middle of the road (and admittedly not offensively bad) action/crime/thriller movie.

"Your liver, your lungs, your spleen...and your heart"
Wonderful, a movie about a mysterious man who seeks vengeance.

I did not see the original, but I do not have to see it to know that this version is better.

    Pros: 1. Dark and exciting.

    2. Thrilling.

    3. Superb acting.

    4. The ending is beyond words.

    5. A very good plot, rather original even though it is based on another movie.

    6. It gets slightly emotional.

    7. Darkly comical in the beginning.

    8. Character development is there and it is quite extroridnary.

    9. Realistic, and not that many flaws.

Cons: 1. The cinematography is not very good, the graphics are ok but the camera can be very shaky at times.

    2. There is music playing at every minute of the movie, it gets annoying.

    Conclusion: Plot: 9.7/10 Cinematography: 5.4/10 Acting: 9.3/10 Characters: 9.6/10 Directing: 9.3/10.

Emotional impact: 7.6/10 Entertainment level: 9.8/10 Realism: 9.4/10

Final rating: 87.625% (but I am a little biased, so I will put it up to 90.125%)

Non-Spoiler Alert: The original French movie is vastly superior!
Are you really shocked when I tell you that the original Le convoyeur (2004) is vastly superior to this paltry remake effort?

The main reason is that, in the original, the protagonist is an everyday man, citizen lambda, where as in this monstrosity of a remake the protagonist has been made into an invincible Terminator-esque force of nature which takes away any pathos from the viewer and any semblance of relatability!

A few little things also remain unanswered, not plot holes per se but just random open questions like: What exactly is the original business of H? What exactly is the nature of his relationship with Agent King? What exactly happened to H's original crew after he initially went back to London?

In summary: Watch the original Le convoyeur (2004) for a more visceral and authentic experience.

A Jason Statham Movie Never Disappoints Me!
If his name is attached to a movie, I'm all in! I just love Jason Statham. The more of his movies I see, the more in love I become. Also, this is a Guy Ritchie movie and it's a bit different from the way he usually does things, which I enjoyed as well. The cast is awesome. It includes some of my favorite actors, like Holt McCallany, Andy Garcia and Laz Alonso. This basically kept me on the edge of my seat, which is always fun. Absolutely, what I would call a popcorn movie (as opposed to one you'd watch while eating dinner). I definitely recommend, if you enjoy action-crime-thriller type of movies.

    Action
If you wanna watch a good action movie without thinking too much, it would be a good choice especially after a stressful day. It puts in the atmosphere of the movie at ease.
