Best is a good movie
I personally despise the natural horror genre, because animals are my passion, and these movies that I have seen are inaccurate, predictable, painfully unlikable, and are not so high on the fear factor. In comparison, "Beast" gets everything right; no inaccuracies, no bad puns, no hatred for animals, nothing predictable, and nothing uneven in terms of realism, and nothing unrealistic whatsoever (especially if you have knowledge for wildlife). Right from the get-go you feel like you are just in it for the ride with African wildlife ambience, and the camera occasionally stops rolling. By the way, the horrific action sequences rivals those from "The Ghost and the Drakness" and "Into the Grizzly Maze." Every single action sequence hits hard like a ton of bricks with sheer impact, and they have a lot of rip-snorting momentum that keeps you on the edge of your seat with terrifying results.
