    Surprising ... very surprising
I don't know if I missed something when reading about this movie, but I was not at all expecting christian. I was just watching, then out of the blue, they start mentioning God. I don't mind at all, it just shocked me.

The only reason I didn't do ten stars was because it is not the best of the best, but it is one of the best movies I have ever watched.

There are no bad scenes, only a couple of kisses, no swearing (including OMG), over all ... clean.

If you are looking for a High-School movie, a romantic movie (but not the sole focus of the movie), a musical (AMAZING MUSIC), or just a clean movie, here it is. I present to you .... (dramatic drum role) .... A WEEK AWAY!

Thank you for putting up with my rambling by reading my comment.

    Good fun though predictable
Making a low budget film with a message and a mostly kid cast is a lot to take on. Add turning any script into a musical and the odds are long. I'd say they pulled it off. With the help of some CCM classics.

    good movie
Will hit rock bottom when he had the choice to either go to camp or to.youth detention center. There he found friendship, love and God and family. When he first got to camp he didn't want to be there but the longer he was there the more he actually liked it. This movie might be a little cheesy but it's better than the 1 star ratings some are giving it.
