I'm depressed after the DISASTER of an end!!!
I literally downloaded this to vent after watching the end today...I am so ANGRY!!!!! The entire thins was so PERFECT every single series whether wizards or 3below but this just ruined it for me. I have been upset all day about the end! Jim loved claire and everyone except the dead people were together with no threats. Why give all that up for barely 3 people. Throughout the franchise they moved on and yeah i get that this time it was Toby but still! The entire last season of the original series was made to tell Jim HE has to be the troll hunter and then such an amazing show throws it all away by making Toby the troll hunter AFTER time travelling... Poor ending....
I enjoyed the first series withe my son. This was a solid movie until the end. I felt it cheapened the series as a whole and was a poor way to "fix" things. All that came before is naught.....shame on the writers. It should have ended as it was. All the development, the storylines, everything that was accomplished is now gone. Toby in no way would be able to take the mantle from Jim. The dynamic created in the original series should have been kept intact. I will continue to view the original and subsequent additions with my son as he enjoys it greatly but this movie was a huge letdown. Long Live The original theme and cast.
