Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, investigates a young boy's terrifying possession and ends up uncovering a centuries-old conspiracy the Vatican has desperately tried to keep hidden.
lina-hafizah - 11 May 2024 One of the best horror movie i have ever watched! As a horror movie lover, i have low expectation on this movie but once i have watched it, it easily become one of my favourite horror movie! I am a bit surprised with the low review here though!
Russell crowe is without doubt a versatile actor, but the other casts are amazing too especially henry, the possessed boy. The thing i like the most i guess is the story line because it is not a typical possession movie so it is very refreshing to watch this. The plot is different and interesting to watch!
I am so glad that netflix announced recently that there will be part 2 for this movie! I am looking forward for it!
tedialeksandrov - 17 February 2024 Might be the best horror movie I've ever watched. I don't understand all the comments that are saying that it is pretty much like the other exorcist movies, it's literally called "The Pope's Exorcist" and is about exorcism, that's about it if we are talking about commons in Exorcist movies. The effects were pretty much ones I've never seen before and I've probably watched every exorcist movie, don't know who did them but they were really on another level. The balance in the combination of genres was also brilliantly executed. Crowe did an amazing job and in all honesty I can't recall every single horror movie I've watched, but this I believe is the best one I've watched.
imdbprofile11 - 18 January 2024 Comedy gold HahahahHahahahHahahHahaha
What a lovely comedy. The accent, the cliches, the horrible acting from the mother. The call to the daughter was my favorite though by far. You'll see what I mean if and when you watch.
I'm really sad to see how far such a great actor has fallen to take a roll like this, but I guess it happens to the best of them.
Give this a whirl if you want to laugh. But it's nothing more than that.
I also need to add some more characters in order to post this, so bear with me as I just write as much as I can. Thanks for reading. And, um, I don't know what else there is to say. Okay that's enough.
