    What was the point ?
Anticipation for this film was at an all-time high. The first two installments of *A Quiet Place* were pretty interesting, with their thrilling build-up, action, and the clever play between quietness and loudness. Unfortunately, this third installment doesn't quite hit that high note.

Right from the opening scene, there wasn't much to hook me into the plot. There were a few moments where I thought it was interesting-especially during the creature attacks-but compared to the previous two films that gave us a great story and built suspense, this prequel falls flat. I was hoping this origin story would answer lingering questions and deliver chaos befitting "Day One" of the world's reckoning, but it doesn't. There are some chaotic moments, but for the first day of the invasion, it lacked the intensity and clarity I expected. Where are the creatures? Why aren't they attacking more? The realization that noise triggers the creatures' attacks felt underwhelming, and the subplot about a dying woman whose last wish is to eat pizza, while interesting, didn't compensate for the film's other shortcomings.

Overall, it's an average film that might resonate more with cat lovers, but for me, it didn't hit the right notes.

Not bad for a Quiet Place
So yesterday I got the chance to finally watch A Quiet Place: Day One, with my dad and brother and my cousin and nephew, and the movie was pretty good for me. To me it almost reminds me of Cloverfield meets I am Legend.

The movie takes place before the first Quiet Place movie, but it was the first invasion in New York City, and I gotta be honest, it had a pretty good story, the dialogue, and some pretty good jumpscare moments, but not that much scares tho.

But I quite enjoy this movie tho, because it did bring out the first Quiet Place vibes, and many movie vibes like Cloverfield and I am Legend. Lupita Nyong'o and Joseph Quinn did a really good job with there brilliant performances. This is clearly not a bad horror movie after all.

    8/10.
