dkgupta493 - 28 April 2024 Did not find scarry I had lots of expectations with this movie but it did not fulfill them. I did not find any reason why joker was on behind of the childrens, if there is no reason or goal for torturing the children there is no sense of the movie. I did not find good by stephan king novel adoption. Small kids love story was little good. Baverly should be got to ben not billy. Starting of the movie is very interesting when george disappear ot was really a scary moment but rest of the movie is just crap. Movie quality and work of camera was good thats why inhad given 6 star to this movie. Kids acting was all good.
chelseajmbelehar - 18 January 2024 Good After seeing it I can see how people who haven't seen the original (myself included) would like this movie.
The visuals were.very good in this film. Not too little or too much. The color pallet was very pleasing to look at. The story was good for a scary movie though a little bit more detail as to what IT is would have been nice. Though it doesn't harm the story or take away from the creep factor.
The interaction between the kids was spot on! It really made them more convincing and easier to make them likable. Even the most annoying kid who can say nothing right at any time, you still don't want him to die.
Overall I'd say a solid 6/10.
SPZMaxinema - 23 October 2023 Not only a good horror movie, a good movie period! I ended up enjoying this movie. At first it's hard to buy into the kids who are the main focus throughout the film but eventually they really win you over with their connection to the plot, their unique personalities/fears, and their desire to do the right thing and save/find/help the ones they care for. Bill Skarsgard plays Pennywise very well and the film is made with a lot of quality directing and production with effects, the way it was shot, etc. While it may have throw away characters and scenes at times, the essence of the film really hit me, as I have a younger brother myself and it made me feel for the main character who developed a lot of courage and growth with himself, as well as the female co-lead Sophia Lillis. I thought it was mostly handled well! To top it all off, great message about conquering and going beyond your fears when you're young!
naimahmetcucen-67809 - 4 October 2022 homework It's a classic horror movie, but enjoyable to watch.
Actually, I don't like watching horror movies, but I love this movie. While watching the movie, you can predict what will happen in the next scene, but it doesn't have a bad effect. Honestly, it's a good adaptation. But I think the jewish child is in the background, i don't even remember his name. But the movie reflects the traumas and crushing feelings of children well.
The person I like the most in the movie is bill skarsgard, his name in the movie is Pennywise. Bill skarsgard is a very good actor he has a small role in deadpool 2
i think 7/10.
carrollcharlie-77231 - 9 August 2022 Absolutely Flawless Movie This movie is perfect. So perfect that it is my favorite horror movie. The writing is wonderful, the acting is terrific, and it doesn't fail to scare the audience.
There's only one con, and it is that the movie takes a very long time to address the goal/plot. For the majority it's just Pennywise killing kids, and the main characters try to avoid it.
Other than that, the movie is flawless. I would totally recommend.
