    Disappointed
I would start with the positives - great filming locations. One would really feel in paradise.

Unfortunately, truly not impressed with the script. Utmost flat. Boring dialogues. Lack of any reasonable story development. Even the obvious absolute top star tandem in the leading roles cannot save the film. The supporting male role - the pilot was not funny at all. In addition, what was the purpose of the character of the friend of the bride /brainwashed blonde/? The characters of the bride and the groom could be better explored. The final is cheesy and boring. In my opinion the music was also not well arranged.

    Awful. Predictable. Tired
An annoying American couple go to Australia, not Bali, and are rude and won't stop stop bickering like 8 year olds.

The rest is ridiculous. Julia Roberts does her wide-mouthed "signature" laugh in every second scene. The ensemble cast looks mostly Thai or islander.

It's filled with immature, unfunny ninsense and assumes that we'll find it charming just because of who's on screen.

The gnawing arbitrariness of Ticket to Paradise cuts to the heart of why the Hollywood rom-com has been so deficient for so long, often turning to outrageously silly premises just to throw some obstacles in the way.

    Best parts are unscripted
They should've just pointed a camera at George & Julia for 90 minutes & let them do their thing. The writing was not good, best lines delivered by the supporting cast (the best friend, the father in law, sister & very attractive younger boyfriend of Julia's character). But watching the 2 main actors during the bar scene & the end credits was the only enjoyable time watching them, letting loose & having fun. I enjoy a good rom-com, but even this one screwed up the formula somehow. I'm still not quite even sure what lesson I was supposed to learn from it, other than clearly Bali is a gorgeous & magical place & we Americans are definitely doing life wrong.

Great for empty nesters.. and a riot
But if you've not had kids, skip it.. you won't like it. This is a movie for the late baby boomers. I mean are you kidding!!! Roberts and Clooney! The absolute two best actors of our generation. I loved it. Kids and unmarried... skip it so you don't ruin the rating! This is definitely a full 7 rating so I gave it an 8 to make up for the kids. And they both look great, and neither had alit if work either. Man, the lucky are lucky aren't they. Good looks can make the world so easy. That's America lol.

    Pridictable story, on good location
It is more like documentary to show the scenic view! The story line it self was very flat.

The story was very traditional show unrealistic romance.

Although the main characters acting were good, the other player acting was awful. The girl and the boy played like they know each other for a long time. Everything happened in a month! Surprisingly, he boy was speaking with native American accent!

Not much about what happened in the last 25 years, just a silly story about the house.

By the way, it was good to have a relaxing time and watch natural scenery in a big screen. It was good for entertainments overall.

    Just a money grab
I have liked both the stars for years, but this time they picked a turkey. The amount of promoting they did suggests they knew it too. I guess a trip to Australia was a lure they couldn't resist. Every line out of their mouths was sooooo predictable. Have they no pride? To go from Oscar-worthy performances to this cr*p should be embarrassing.

I know an IMDB review has to be a certain length but I've said all that needs to be said. Don't waste your time. Fortunately I watched on Peacock so I didn't shell out any actual money. Watching the trailer for free should convince you this is banal, predictable, scenery-chewing stuff that should never have seen the light of day. But I guess as long as performers with box office appeal lend their names to a production, there will be fans hoping to see another Pretty Woman or a new George Clooney caper. At some point they will learn you can't always recapture the magic.

Right time, right place, right circumstance
I was a bit hesitant to watch this movie because of all the negative reviews. But I watched it with the wife and kids, and have to say, it was absolutely delightful. George Clooney's and Julia Roberts' banter and wit shined. Instead of dumb humor that you see so often in comedies, the humor was clean, tight and very relatable. I honestly have no idea what all the negative reviews were about. I admit the pace was a bit relaxed, the story was a bit formulaic, but Clooney and Roberts are superstars and one can see why by watching this movie. The supporting cast members were great. I highly recommend giving this movie a try.

    Lightweight comedy
There really is little new in the storyline, but it is set in a most gorgeous place and the roles are very likeable. There are the customs leading to marriage that are different, as the marriage proposed is done in the native fashion and tradition. Clooney and Roberts have been apart for a long time, as their marriage didn't last too long, and after their daughter Lily graduates, off to Bali for a vacation where she falls in love with a native man. 37 days later, her parents get an e-mail that she intends to marry. Looking at their own marriage, things seemed unreal before marriage, and got too real after, and they were concerned about their daughter's decision. The scenery helps sell the story, and while one will not be saying they can never get the time they watch the movie back, nor will they long remember the movie. A strange slip up in the script right at the start which was unforced. Both go to the Lily's college graduation, where they say she gets her diploma. No, college is a degree, high school is a diploma.

    I loved this film!
This film was superb. It was obviously well acted. I mean come on, has Clooney and Roberts ever disappointed. I think not. It was very heartwarming movie. It goes to show that divorced couples can definitely reunite. I gave this 10 stars but it's probably an 8. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but those of us who aren't idiots have to rate movies and shows higher than what they are because of the morons who give good films low ratings and bad reviews. I mean seriously do you people know what a 1-3 star movie is??? It's a movie that looks like it was filmed in a basement with an 80's camcorder! Even a film that was poorly written but stars Clooney and Roberts is going to be no less than a 5. So to all the dumb uneducated losers who rated this a 1-3, please stop ruining good movies for other people because they get on here and see its a 6 star movie, read the bad reviews and move on.

    Fun, light escape - thanks
Fun way to spend a cool Fall afternoon. Perfect matinee material. Just like a Hallmark TV movie. Except with better acting, directing & scenery. Bali is so lovely with very friendly and happy people. Been there seen that.

All the cast was perfect except for the inconsistent French accent. Sorry but...

Follows the same time tested formula. Checked all the required boxes. Exactly what we expected and needed. A feel good rom-com with enough drama to tell the story. A little too laid back - my wife fell asleep in a few spots. The good part is that she didn't miss anything.

Thanks to all involved. Bali tourism will benefit greatly with this movie.
