    Could have been great...
The premise had the potential to be a pretty decent little lower budget noir thriller. And for the record, the script isn't as bad as others say in "most" scenes.

The tragic failing was casting Willis for the "name recognition" knowing that he was just going to phone in his lines.

If the director, writer and producers just had the confidence in their product enough to cast actors who cared, and maybe polish up the dialogue, this had the potential to be a gritty atmospheric piece.

Sawa clearly cared about the movie more than anyone and his performance reflects that. The little twist at the end going back to the moment the film kicks off is reasonable, if not mind-blowing.

It deserves better than the 2.5 it's currently sitting at. But no higher than a 5. I'm adding a star for Sawa's performance.

A solid noir thriller, don't get the bad reviews
This is a solid noir thriller with a fantastic job done by the cast. This is not a Bruce Willis movie! If you understand that going in, it's a great movie! Bruce Willis is not the focus here, nor should he be. Give the movie a chance and you might be pleasantly surprised like I was.
