    Way too long
Kevin Hart is a funny comedic actor. And so is Mark Whalberg. But this movie is about 45 minutes too long. Had this movie been at the 90 to 100 minutes mark it would have been a really fun and funny movie. But at this length it is annoying and requires a lot of fast forwarding. More is not always better and this movie is a great example of that. Did I reach my word limit yet for this post? No? Ok, well like I said too long even with hilarious comedic actors. Keep these movies at around 90 minutes and you will strike gold. Did I reach the word limit now? Still no? Ugh! Come on, now, IMDb. This is ridiculous.

Do people expect a masterpiece watching this?
I have no problem with the movie for what it is. It is exactly the type of expendable comedy I've come to expect. For all those leaving bad reviews, why do they expect something else? It is exactly as advertised.

Everyone's getting a paycheck. Netflix gets another IP. People get to kill their time or get to fill the silence in their lives with this playing this in their background. Because full attention is only for the good movies.

The movie didn't go full Wahlberg and that's appreciated. Never go full Wahlberg. Kevin can be annoying at times but short Balck man shouting is funny apparently.

    It is what it is.

Bland buddy comedy that offers nothing.
    2 out of 5 stars.

Me Time is a bad buddy comedy film that has two great actors Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart which they both can provide laughs and have talent. The script offers no laughs or fun that makes this film worth watching. The plot is thin. About two best friends that decide to celebrate ones birthday and have a wild week. There are very few jokes and humor in far between. Making the film boring. Most of the humor was shown in the trailer leaving barely nothing new in the film. Me Time is one film that is worth skipping. Besides the actors Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart. They can not save the movie for its boringness.

    Filler
Me Time is like a song on an album that fills space between two other songs - it's there, you listened to it on the initial play, but you'll skip it from now on. It's got a handful of funny parts that might make you snicker but there isn't really anything else there - the story has been done before, they meet all the Hollywood diversity quotas, traditional gender roles are flipped on their head and mocked, the characters are two dimensional, and it seems like it was written by a hundred people who didn't communicate with one another. They threw in a little social commentary about telling your kids about being tr@nsg*nervous as well, and for no reason what-so-ever other than to check off boxes. I'm surprised Wahlberg was in this movie.

    Waste of me time
To be honest I don't really need to review this just read the review title. I'm not Kevin Harts biggest fan but I have seen him be good in other movies such as The Upside. I also like Marky Mark and he's been great in films, and can carry himself in comedies. Regina Hall is a great actress and also has good comedy chops. However this comedy is not funny. I have a real issue just with the premise of this movie. Why does the dad need to be a househusband to need "me time". Plenty of of modern men are a major part of raising their families while holding full time jobs along with their full time working wife and would be even more in need of a "break". There, over 600 characters, you didn't need to read any of them just the title.
