    An unexpected gem!
I could not stop smiling!!! Really enjoyed it! It's sweet and lighthearted and I would recommend if you want something playful and adventurous. Don't expect any unpredictable turns but it's comforting and enjoyable. The story is simple and similar to many others but the characters are relatable and genuine. It has an indie feel and captures teen angst. The story is thoughtful, fun and energetic. My only criticism is that the actors don't have the most natural chemistry and there is not a lot of depth or character development. In any case, it's for sure a perfect pick if you want a good smile and sweet teen romance!

    Nice feel-good young adults movie
Along for the ride was a real life-feeling young adults movie. I really enjoyed watching the film. It showcases passion, enthusiasm and the need/want to do/create something for oneself. It also navigates what you truly love in life, learning/trying new things and the people you meet along the way. Eli and Auden were great characters and it reflects how they try to understand themselves. Emma Pasarow portrayed Auden so well. I highly recommend.

    Wonderfully done
I loved the acting and the subtle undertones of deeper issues in this movie. I liked how the characters healed in their own ways, and how they were rather realistically portrayed. As someone from a rather tumultuous household, I related to Auden. I've felt the desire to create a new identity as well. Reality isn't as neat as a lovely romcom though - there's no beautiful man with a lovely personality waiting to assist you, your father doesn't turn over a new leaf, and your mother doesn't love you in the way you want to be loved. Or maybe she does, and he does, but comes too late. When you're older, and can't truly register what love means anymore. But that's precisely what I loved about the movie. It gave lovely happy endings to the emotional troubles that flitter around me in reality, and it took me away to a happier place where I was Auden, for 1.5 hours. It sold me a lovely fantasy, and I'm very appreciative of it.
