    Now we talking
Some review said this is not a 9 or 10 rated movie and compared it with godfather and I must agree with that thought, but,, also you cant compare them side by side , this is a low budget drama horror movie and must be judged after what it is and then its a 9 star rated movie in my book , but yes I was kind with 9

This movie was close to perfection, acting is amazing, who would guess this boondock guy had so much quality in him , direction is very good , story is smart and well written, the whole story is playing in one room so its important with acting and direction, if that goes wrong the whole movie would fall flat

It was only one thing ,,, the weak link is the ending, felt like they were out of ideas to have a good end , but ok , anyway this is a masterpiece.

Outstanding peformance from Sean Patrick Flanery
Saw the trailer for this film and having been a fan of SPF since the original Boondocks, I made it a Friday night film. WOW. His performance was mesmerising. His ability to maintain the characters quirks and tone and stay focused in this biblical sized dialogue and deliver the lines with conviction was incredible. Found myself drawn in and wanting to know 'who' he was. Kept trying to second guess but his side steps and change kept me watching. Sean Patrick Flannery carries this film from start to finish and not once does he put it down.

Hats off to you sir. Superb directing from Konzelman and Solomon with a lovely editing style and some wonderful camera angles to let the scenes breath.

    Well done
This is a movie in the same vein as something like 12 Angry Men. It all takes place more or less in the same place, and relies on dialogue to carry it through. If you're not a fan of that, you won't like this movie. If you want big stars, action, and effects - you also won't like this movie.

I personally love movies like this, and this one was no exception. They rely solely on the writing and acting - nothing more nothing less. The two leads here are both excellent, especially Flanery who is tasked with two roles.

The movie is incredibly thought provoking, and keeps you wondering the entire time. Yes there are Christian themes, but I honestly didn't even know it was a 'Christian Movie' until I read about it after. Can't wait to see the supposed sequels and follow ups.

All of that said, I felt the ending was a bit weak, so knocked a couple stars off.
