    When Netflix met Hallmark
The movie has not a lot to offer (even though, I have to admit, the storyline does a solid job of not boring you with the same old same old plotpoints we all know and hate), since it's your typical romantic movie, with all the things you would expect from the genre and Netflix.

NEVERTHELESS, before writing "A perfect pairing" off, let me tell you this: Demos was great and Justice was good. Why not watch it after a tiring day, with a glass of your favourite wine, while enjoying the scenery and the rest of the nature shots? There's been worse and cheesiest rom-comflicks, let's not fool ourselves.

    Cute rom com
I normally give cheesy feel good rom coms a 6 star, but this one was one of the better ones so gave 7. Honestly it just hit the spot because I'm Aussie and all Netflix shows and rom coms are hardly ever set in Australia so it was nice to see. Plus you can't beat the Aussie bush it's a magnificent backdrop to a love story. I got a real kick out of seeing all the Aussie slang on the big screen in a rom com style flick. Nice seeing a typical aussie bloke on screen.

I wouldn't have taken the friend back the one who stole the idea, nobody would do that! She needed a swift kick-box to the head. Just a romcom but I liked it! Good flick for a Sunday night easy viewing.

    A surprisingly watchable rom-com.
I wasn't too sure where it was going at the beginning, but I stuck with it and enjoyed it. Filmed in beautiful Australia with a mostly Australian cast who were good. The script wasn't perfect, but it worked. What tied it together and moved it along was the lead actress, Victoria Justice (Lola Alvarez) who was in almost every scene and maintained Lola's perky and determined personality. Sure the plot isn't original and it has overworked cliches like wine and phone apps that are everywhere in rom-coms, but that was minor. There is chemistry between the leads Justice and Demos and the supporting cast were very good, even Hallmark fans can appreciate it. This isn't a Hallmark drama, it's a Netflix's drama.

I'm not generally a fan of sequels, but the continuing saga of Lola and Max (Adam Demos) would be fun to watch.

    Perfectly fine though nothing new
Perfectly fine for romcom lovers though offered nothing new. Stuart McDonald did an okay job through every archetypes in its genre. Justice justified her charming looks with well-crafted messages about overcoming challenges while chasing your own dreams.
