Kantara

Shiva, a tribal vagabond lives with his mother in hamlet, stays away from the traditional Daivaradhane and Bhoota Kola legacy due to an unforgettable childhood incident. He is happy loafing around with his friends and doing petty jobs for his landlord. When Forest officer Murali enters the scene, it gives a fresh dimension to the man-vs-nature fight. A Divine Masterpiece!
I must say it is a Divine Masterpiece!

What sets "Kantara" apart is its authenticity. The film captures the essence of rural Karnataka with exquisite detail, from its vibrant festivals to its lush landscapes. The cinematography is breathtaking, immersing viewers in the sights and sounds of the countryside, while the evocative soundtrack adds depth and emotion to every scene.

Rishab Shetty, as an Actor and as a Director has done fabulous work. At its core, "Kantara" is a story between human, nature and divine forces - the bonds that tie us together and the challenges we face in navigating the complexities of love and loss. Through its rich tapestry of characters and emotions, the film resonates on a deeply personal level, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and relationships.

    Dumbest movie ever!
I am not sure if I am missing something! It's ultra boring. My whole family, friends and students didn't like the movie too. They were like "Is this even a movie". "What kind of movie is this?". "How this movie grossed so much?". "The movie has almost no content or story". I slept in the halfway. It wasn't even watchable for me!

The gross income of this movie is a proof that superstitions still prevail in India.

But I do appreciate the great bgm and lighting. The art is good. The beginning dance was so artistic but didn't like the violent shouting. Throughout the movie the shouting was irritating. I didn't like the concept. I wonder how so many people liked this movie. Just one star for me. Sorry Kannada friends.
