    D-Level Comedy
Thoroughly dumb and horrible alleged "comedy." Jennifer Lawrence has finally found her place in life. At the bottom of the dregs of gratuitous unfunny "C" level movie making.

She's got a great body but can't act. These types of films will be her money making milieu from here on out.

Here's an example of how low in comedy this movie has gone:

"Why do you want a dog?" "Because I can't have dogs on my own."

    Funny? Not in the slightest.

Or how about: "You can finish alone, right? Bet you do it all the time."

It's horrendous. Lawrence has no sense of comedy or comedy timing. She's horrible. And so's this movie.

Big shock -- The male parent is unrecognizable. I kept saying who is that guy, he looks familiar. Mathew Broderick!

No Hard Feelings" presented an interesting premise and showcased Jennifer Lawrence's comedic talents, but ultimately fell short of captivating my interest throughout.
No Hard Feelings" presented an interesting premise and showcased Jennifer Lawrence's comedic talents, but ultimately fell short of captivating my interest throughout. While I typically don't gravitate towards romantic comedies, I found the initial 45 minutes of the film to be stronger and more humorous. Lawrence delivered a commendable performance and exhibited great chemistry with her co-lead.

However, as the movie progressed, I began to lose engagement, finding it predictable and drawn out in certain parts. While I wouldn't say I disliked it, the film didn't resonate with me as much as I had hoped. The acting and dialogue were well-executed, and the setting was appealing, but overall, the experience was just okay.

For fans of romantic comedies, "No Hard Feelings" may offer an enjoyable viewing experience, but personally, it didn't align with my preferences in film.

    No Hard Women
Were people trying to create the most obnoxious female protagonist in history? Because oh my god, I can't remember the last time I watched a movie with such an irredeemable, annoying female protagonist. Okay, I did watch Catherine Called Birdy, but I found her slightly more sympathetic than this one. Maddie is a criminal, a creep, and behaves like a total self-centered brat despite being in her 30s. The movie never explains any of this and she never grows out of it. Why Percy would want to be with her and why anyone ship him with her, I don't understand. The two have no chemistry and she's been nothing but a toxic person toward him. The moment this woman made a move on me, I would cut her out of my life entirely. But no, the movie has Percy forgive her at the end and brush off all her negative behavior just because she almost died. Jennifer Lawrence looks too innocent to play such a sleazeball.

Percy is the deuteragonist, and despite being much more likeable, barely has any agency of his own. I wish the movie was about him and making his own decisions about dating instead of having all the adults dictate what he, A YOUNG ADULT should do.

This could've been a relatable and refreshing movie for the increasingly sheltered lives of Gen Z learning to get out into the real world. Instead, it's just another movie where a young person is being exploited and groomed. We deserve better.
