One Piece Film Red

Uta — the most beloved singer in the world. Her voice, which she sings with while concealing her true identity, has been described as “otherworldly.” She will appear in public for the first time at a live concert. As the venue fills with all kinds of Uta fans — excited pirates, the Navy watching closely, and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance — the voice that the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound.

    Just okay
I don't know why people are complaining about the songs. Those and Uta's power to affect the world with her songs were the most interesting part.

Honestly, the twist is what ruins it. It's hard to believe a character actually has good intentions when their solution is "kill everyone and send them to the Heaven I made." Uta quickly becomes increasingly deranged. The "demon" was an even worse addition to the plot and looked corny as heck. The fight scenes were less well done than in the anime. The references to recent arcs were excessive.

One thing I will agree with people though (but with the opposite sentiment) is that it doesn't feel like a One Piece movie, at least, not until the end. See, One Piece movies are bad, pointless, and a waste of time. They are dumb stories with no reason to exist and serve only to flaunt inconsistencies with the anime and confuse the timeline. This movie builds an interesting character but makes itself bad, pointless, and waste of time right in the final 30 seconds by killing her.

worst phasing i have ever seen
Story tried to tell to much with little amount of time.there was no brief moments for wievers to underdtand the plot points of the movie because everything was going on a wawey direction.

The animation on the action scenes on the other hand was even more worse, you feel like as if you are on a epilepcy attack as a result of fast animation with no focus in every single frame.

If you are a one piece fan you might have fun while watching,if you are not i do not reccomend you to start one piece from here.but you might also be here for the songs since the main character is voiced by famous singer ado.

    Nice
Movies about one of the longest running and still unfinished anime we have out there. Not being very knowledgeable about either the comic series or the cartoon series I cannot say if this film is accurate in terms of coherence and continuity with the general plot and for this I will limit myself to judging the film for what it is. So overall the film is very colorful and full of life but it's still a bit boring, there are several points that in my opinion are too drawn out and too long to keep the viewer's attention, having said that though overall the film is watchable It is funny. So in conclusion the movie is good.

    It's not that good (boring)
I watched the whole movie and honestly the plot was really boring , fights felt REALLY overused and the twist was good but rather vauge? , the movie also feels like it's a musical rather than actual one piece movie. The effects and fights were pushed to almost extreme limits were instead of exciting it was boring and overused. I honestly expected a lot from it but it just wasn't it . I love the singer and songs but overall the movie isn't really it, it's not that good.

Idk honestly if i like the character uta as she's kind of too annoying to be ""likeable"" and ""appealing"" in this whole movie but i guess the creators intended it.

    Uta: The musical really sucked
I have watched every one piece content out there and this by far was the worst thing I have ever watched.

    1. It's a musical where you're bombarded with Uta singing every 5 minutes. They are literally forcing her down your throat for the ENTIRE movie.

    2. They made it their mission to show you nearly every character in the 1000+ episodes with zero purpose for them being there besides to cashout on the fan's nostalgia.

    3. The fight scene is like a rainbow came on me with rage and you maybe get 2 seconds of EVERY character doing a move.

    4. You can count on one hand how many times you may see your favorite characters with practically no dialogue, because Uta has to sing now.

What an absolute disappointment. This was nothing but a scummy cash grab.

    Amazing One Piece Film
One Piece Red is amazing in ways with its singing, artwork, and story that it tells to the audience. The whole film is basically non-canon as it brings a new character and the main antagonist: Uta. She has the power of the devil fruit of melody and music where she can put people into a trance where they go to sleep and live in fantasy land without harm forever. The whole movie revolves around her to stop her plans of putting the townsfolk, pirates, naval crew, and even Luffy's crew into dreamworld forever and destroy Uta's dream demons once and for all. I feel like every character in the anime has use to every single one of their powers because if it wasn't for all of them that they wouldn't have prevailed. Overall, an amazing movie and would definitely recommend it to watch it on the biggest screen possible.
