Wholesome romance
Loved being able to go to a movie that I knew would be a romance, yet would maintain a wholesome atmosphere. A follower of all books written by Karen Kingsbury, the Baxter series is one of my favorites. I loved the beautiful scenery, especially the fall mountains and lakes. I have never been to the Nashville Zoo, but seeing some of the area displayed on film makes me want to put that on my bucket list. Hoping some other stories from Karen's series, such as Forgiving Paris, will be made into a movie. The only suggestion I could make is that it could have moved at a slightly faster pace. Loved it. Why the name change?
In the books, London's sister is Maddie Baxter-West and her parents are Brooke Baxter and Peter West and they're part of the Baxter family of books. Why change the girl's name to Andi Allen and not connect her adoptive family to the Baxters? I didn't understand that part, considering their names weren't changed in The Baxters series which was just on Amazon Prime. Also, how Dawson was given even one bit of confidential medical information about the Quinn's embryo in order to find Andi in the first place was amazing. Has no one heard of H. I. P. A. A.? The movie was a bit corny, and probably not for those who haven't read the books or who don't like Christian romance movies.
