    McGyver with Attitude
This is very much a TV movie let's not kid ourselves, from budget to effects to dialogue and writing, it's not cinematic at all BUT if you enjoy Lucas Till in McGyver (yes, I do) then ignore all the haters and bad reviews...its a decent actioner movie much like an extended triple TV episode. The premise is solid enough, the leads are all fine and the action is believable enough so really there's no need to complain.

It is a decent and solid enough action move with knowable and dependable actors doing a decent job. So long as you know what to expect before going into it, you should enjoy it perfectly fine, I certainly did.

    Can I get a refund?
Oh wait this was free to watch? Can you refund my time please? Even Don Johnson couldn't bail this movie out of the trash bin. I hoped for more but was sadly disappointed. It had all of the elements for a great movie but was terrible with a capital T. From masked villains with machine guns that are easily killed to the super rich waiting in an alley in public in the daytime to attend an auction to spend $50 million to buy slaves. This is the definition of a fool and his money would soon be separated. I would love to get into business with the crazies that financed this movie. I feel like the craft services budget was higher than the writers budget.

Oh great, another generic action movie there to waste my time
The Collective, like many other action movies that came before it, is pretty much the same as every other B-rated action movie out there. This one doesn't stand out as anything different, nor entertaining. Just a cluster of crap dialogue, a bored Tyrese, and spliced up action sequences like the Taken 3's fence jumping scene.

What really pains me is just how generic and same it is to every other action movie there is. There's the typical "evil bad guy" with the Bond villain evil plan, the usual "secret agency" that is secretive and highly skilled, and the newcomer that has a lot to learn and then becomes a bada** towards the end. Whoopi doo...

Couldn't the writers have thought of anything else that isn't just ripping off the James Bond formula? Like I've heard of so many action movies that have identical plots like this. Only this one is as generic, if not, even more painfully terrible than anything I've ever seen. At least it's not Steven Segal bad with him being untouchable and always being some edgy bada**. Still, don't think for a second that this is any bit better; it's not.
