    Sigourney is simply the best!
    I don't remember ever seeing anything less than perfect with Sigourney Weaver in it! Anything she's involved in is good. I love this film. I'm not going into the plot simply because I'm in the middle of the film lol but I can tell you it's entertaining, thought provoking and so far pretty calm. I don't know if anything out of the ordinary is going to happen but even if the film would continue this way I wouldn't mind because her performance is so satisfying! I also love movies where the actor is speaking to the audience and therefore immerses me into the film! I don't know how I missed this movie but I'm glad I found it! Thanks Sigourney for producing quality work all these years! Love you!

    Misleading premise
    The acting is above average as one would expect. The story is non-existent. We get a little family drama, a little small town drama, an aging woman alone drama, and very very little romance. AND A LOT of alcoholism. Alcoholism is not funny and I have no idea how this was labeled a comedy. It was all over the place and the ending just really sloppy.

    I would have enjoyed more of Kline and Weaver romance. More of their backstory. We could have used more of Weaver own history...why she was who she was. The townsfolk were not enough of the story either. It is just and overall mess. Do not recommend.

    A BEAUTIFUL FILM
    I would definitely recommend this film, it has real heart, it's funny, moving and it's like your talking to one of your friends,I loved the chemistry between Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline two of Hollywoods finest actors. Great performances all round. What can I say about Sigourney Weaver, she is truly amazing here in the lead role, she really makes us care about the character of Hildy Good and root for her! She deserves an Oscar Nomination for this performance. Great to see an actress of a certain age, still command the screen. Sigourney Weaver is outstanding. Watch this film and tell your friends,you won't be disappointed.

    Movie genre that should make a comeback
    Loved it. Everytime, I thought It would take an obvious turn, it didn't. It was funny, touching, fresh and watching the chemistry of Sigourney Weaver and Kevin Kline was off the charts. The acting, direction, production values were excellent. Movies of this genre have been rare in recent years . It was refreshing. It's a must see! The small town setting felt so authentic to New England, though shot in Nova Scotia.

    I found myself holding my breath in so many scenes. All of the characters felt very real and if you've ever dealt with an alcoholic, many things might hit home. There are two adorable dogs in it too!
