    Do you know Mel??
For those complaining "it's too Blazin' Sadles"... it's a tagline! It's on purpose. Read some trivia folks. "It's not for everyone"... nothing is! "Some jokes fall"... not every comedian gets a laugh. Take it for what it is, a kid friendly introduction to Mel the master. My kids have seen some Mel Brooks, because I'm that person. I missed a bunch of this movie because I work over nights and slept, so I will get an opportunity to watch this again. I'm not going to put in regurgitated lines, plots, or any spoilers. If you have a grain of a sense of humor, and understand anything about Mel's work... and need a place to start young kids on in an adventure of stupid funny intro .... This is a good place to start. By the way... this movie doesn't even take itself seriously in the opening credits. If you were looking for it to do so in the movie you need to go back to whatever boring lifeless tv and movie junk you were watching before and stay safe there. Stop pretending to have a sense of humor and leave the rest of us alone! It isn't for everyone because as I said not everything is, but thanks for making fun of a movie that already did the job of making fun of itself. Have a great day, try something new. Start a new hobby maybe.

"PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK" REVIEW
"PAWS OF FURY: THE LEGEND OF HANK" REVIEW

Directed by Chris Bailey, Mark Koetsier, and Rob Minkoff. A runtime of one hour and thirty-eight minutes. Streaming on Paramount+ with a PG rating. In a cat-dominated part of the world, where dogs are not allowed. "Hank" played by Michael Cera is a kind, lovable and out-of-place dog.

"Hank" is looking to become a Samurai. Fulfilling his destiny he's not familiar with yet. "The Shogun" played by Mel Brooks is planning on visiting "Ika Chu" played by Ricky Gervais. "Ika Chu" for some reason wants this secluded town "The Shogun" is visiting to be vacated. He's willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that.

The town is constantly being raided by bandits or attacked by "Sumo" played by Djimon Hounsou. "Ika Chu" trying to be clever sends "Hank" over there. In hopes, he dies trying to save the town. Ultimately he gets trained by an actual Samurai. A little out of practice, "Jimbo" played by Samuel L. Jackson tries to transform "Hank" into one.

Now a conflicted town, along with an older Samurai, a dog trying to be a Samurai, and a young cat "Emiko" played by Kylie Kuioka who thinks she can be a Samurai. Will all try to stop these raids and figure out "Ika Chu" real intentions.

"Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank" was an ok film. Bk(my daughter) said it was like a diet "Kung Fu Panda". I will say it was cheesy. It knew it was cheesy and laid into it even more. They have a scene, in the beginning, talking about sending urgent tweets. Using actual tweet birds. It was so cheesy it even became a little funny.

Between trying to play into current events or talking to the screen at times. It was a bit much. It mimicked a few popular animated films or films in general. Bk said a diet "Kung Fu Panda", but I can't give it that much credit. The action sequences in those films are really good. Unfortunately, they didn't mimic that.

The film has a lot of funny actors in it. From Michael Cera to Gabriel Iglesias. Samuel L. Jackson had some funny scenes. Of course, they tried to do one of his iconic curse-word scenes. Just in an animated way. The film did have some funny scenes in it, where I laughed out loud.

Shout out to Michelle Yeoh. She's in most action films. Even if it's an animated action film, Michelle is like "pass me my coin"! I like it and her character "Yuki" matched her voice perfectly. Also Djimon Hounsou. He's in a lot of films no matter the type of film.

This film could've been better. I wish more for the story's foundation was built before they jumped into the storyline. I would have been annoyed seeing this in the theater. But I'm ok streaming this, watching it with the family. I give it three mor fires 🔥🔥🔥.
