    The bad guy sucked
Morbius the film had the potential to be great, however the script writers & director failed to understand that in any Super Hero ( or Super Anti-Hero or even Super Villian ) movie the most important thing is to ensure that the bad guy(s) ( +/or bad gals ) are intriguing to watch & as an audience you can see their conflict between being good vs evil.

So you can watch their character arcs evolving either good or evil, as that is what audiences want. What is motivating them & can we kind of understand their point of view even when we disagree with their logic.

Of course the best Super Heroes also need to walk this tightrope too. The point is all sentient beings are not 100% good or 100% evil, so what is interesting to see is how people can go from one to the other.

So is DR Michael Morbius ( Jared Leto ) an intriguing character, well yes just about however we do not see enough anguish from him when he has committed acts of evil, so that makes it hard for the audience to stay connected with his character motivations, however the real issue is WHO cast Matt Smith as Milo as maybe if the script was better he could have done much better. The basic acting ability is there, but the problem is at no point in the film can the audience actually feel any real empathy for the adult Milo ( Matt Smith ) as their is no conflict in his character. He just chooses to be evil & has no qualms about it which then makes his character 2D & makes the end of the movie boring.

Adria Arjona is beautiful but not a good actress, so maybe instead of casting someone for their looks, maybe cast a good character actor?

Jared Harris is an excellent actor, as he did as good as he was able.

The rest of the supporting cast did good, however ultimately the script writers have to take the blame for failing to keep the story compelling.

    I enjoyed it
I like the character Morbius, his powers are cool. He'd be a really cool hero to have at your side. He should have his own mini team like the avengers.

My friends say it needed more character development and more of a story to it. I persoanlly think they did develop the characters and story fairly well but yes they could have done with a little more. You don't want the movie to be too long, but I think another 20 mins of story building, built up from another 5 or 10 mins here and there would have done it.

I liked the main female character, it would have been / would be nice to see their love story develop a little more.

I don't like the person he met in cut scene, wtf? I don't like where that's going.

    Overall I really enjoyed it.

CGI was great, u can't do a movie like that without lots of CGI .

    It's Morbin' Time
I love the idea of the movie, I love the protagonist of the movie, Dr Michael Morbius, very flawed but a deep and gritty character. I'm a big fan of the Morbius comic books and to me every Morbius content is a masterpiece to me. The movie reflects the same good powers of the protagonist that the comics have and that's a good trait, a trait that shows that the movie was trying it's best to be a great movie and I admire that. The humour is good and I wish the movie could have been R-rated so that the fight scenes can be more better and overall great to look at. I wish the movie could have been remade because the whole idea of the movie could have been so well executed.

    It's Morning Time
"Morbius" is a thrilling addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with stunning visuals and strong performances from its talented cast.

Jared Leto delivers a complex and captivating portrayal of the titular character, a biochemist who becomes infected with a form of vampirism while attempting to cure a rare blood disease. Adria Arjona is charming as Morbius' love interest, and Matt Smith and Jared Harris round out the supporting cast with solid performances.

The action scenes in "Morbius" are intense and impressively choreographed, with top-notch special effects bringing the various creatures and settings to life. The film also does a commendable job of exploring Morbius' internal conflicts as he grapples with his newfound abilities and the guilt that comes with them.

Additionally, "Morbius" effectively incorporates elements of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe without feeling forced or heavy-handed. Overall, this film is a must-see for fans of the character and the superhero genre.

As a professional reviewer, I highly recommend "Morbius" for its thrilling action, captivating performances, and impressive visuals. It's the perfect way to start your morning. Morning time, indeed! So grab your cup of coffee and settle in for a thrilling ride.

    It's morbin time :D
    Rating: 5.0

It's not godawful it's just very generic and can be predictable. The characters are 2-D at best: Milo was just an ex-runt drunk on power, Bancroft the assistant lover, etc. The presentation was actually pretty good though there was too much slow-mo. The premise is stupid bat blood somehow changing DNA to cure whatever mystery ailment plagued milo and morbius[ and there were some plotholes like Bancroft surviving despite being killed by Morbius (yeah she had a drop of his blood but it shouldn't matter cause he sucked her dry, Morbius not killing himself like he promised and continuing to be a threat to society etc.. The end credits are terrible but overall a forgettable movie.

I originally gave this a 1 star because of those stupid memes that almost made me lose faith in humanity, but it's actually better than both Frozen movies.
Yes, this film is not that amazing due to the flaws like the awful CGI, and the confusing plot-holes, but the memes made this movie absolutely insufferable to deal with. In fact, the memes were so dang popular that I actually enjoyed "American Psycho" more, because seeing Christian Bale bludgeoning Jared Leto with a sledgehammer ended up being way more satisfying than originally intended. However, after giving it a second chance, I realized that this film actually manages to be way more enjoyable than the Frozen movies, because the characters do not sing annoying out-of-date songs, and everything is all gloomy and dinghy, which reminds me of a Tim Burton movie, and since Beetlejuice is in this, I can definitely say that this film is in canon with the Tim Burton universe...and that's definitely saying something.

SPOILER ALERT: No......Morbius does NOT say "It's Morbin Time!" once in the movie. If you talk back, you never watched "The Dark Knight" or "American Psycho", and I hope Christian Bale breaks into your house with a sledgehammer in a raincoat while "Hip to Be Square" plays in the background.

Good Movie Review Bombed by Movie Critics
I was really so surprised just how good this Movie is, given that it was reviewed so badly.

"Morbius" I think is proof of how corrupt the American Professional Movie Critic Industry has become, giving absolute Trash Movies like "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" a 54% Rating on Rotten Tomatoes when it should've been ZERO.

At the same time, Review Bombing a pretty good Movie like "Morbius" just because some id10t and envious Filmmakers and Film Studios can't make a good or don't want to make Comicbook Movies.

Anyway, watch Morbius whenever you can, and pass along the good Reviews in defiance of these Movie Industry Gaslighters.

Great watch! Don't understand all the hate
As a massive Marvel fan, I was hesitant to watch this based on all the bad reviews and critics. Well I'm glad I finally watched it cos I thought it was great. I wish it was a bit longer to fill in some plot holes but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really don't get all the hate for Leto, he embodied Morbius amazingly and was fantastic. The CGI was fantastic, the character transformations were incredible. The only fault I could find is that it was a bit too fast paced but if it was slower people would still complain.

This is a movie for entertainment and if you're going to watch a movie and analyse all the faults, then you're doing yourself a disservice.
