I have an idea for next film... DON'T!!!!
I am so glad I stuck to my guns and waited until this movie was available to stream because THIS MOVIE SUCKS! This movie tries so hard to make connections to pervious films that you can see where the plot of Villain becomes weak. I am aware that Vin Diesel is the producer of these films, but does ever occur to you that the story needs to make sense in order to continue or introduce new characters? You got away with 7 and 8 but now, you are killing a franchise that ended at flim 6. You mean to tell me that suddenly Reyes has a son that was never hinted or mention in Fast 5 and suddenly back for revenge??? How stupid do thing we are?!? This is the same formula you used to introduce Hobbs, while it worked in 7 it made sense for the story. But to try it again in film 8, 9, and 10, not going to fly. And to make the most badass Actor, Jason Momoa, feel like a childish, rich, newly Villain who is trying to get validation and restore his father's honor was useless. You made Dante look like a clown, a joke, and someone even a Girl Scout won't be an afraid of. And let's talk about Cipher because this really upset me. Cipher is the original bogeyman in this franchise, the ghost that can't be touched and yet she shows up on Dom's door like a wound soldier?!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? This movie feels like the first draft of the script that the executives signed off on because it was an action film. There are so many scenes that could have been cut out because they are USELESS! For example, what was the whole point of having Letty and Cipher's fight? Only for them to help each other escape? You could have cut the fight scene or how about the fake job you had the team on. Whoever used ChatGPT to write this script needs to be fired. This movie is not even worth $3.99 let alone Movie ticket prices. Word of advise for Vin Diesel and Universal, please stop while your ahead because the Art of films are suffering over your greed.

Confusing at times and too comical
With this latest instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise, this film adds more new characters as well as bringing back several previous ones. At times it felt a little too cluttered with these characters that there wasn't much focus solely on them.

The main plot revolving Dom being on the run from Jason Mamoa's character Dante and with the inclusion of apparently a new look son (nicknamed Little B), with John Cena's character. The other leads of Roman, Tej, Han and Ramsey did their similar routine in another heist like setting.

There are impressive action sequences such as the opening bomb chase, the street race in Brazil with Dom, Dante and Elena's sister. The visuals and camera work is top notch as always but the main problem is the story isn't quite fleshed out and feels a little too cluttered. Other subplots include Letty and Charlize Theron's character, the random addition of Brie Larson, then Jason Statham's reappearance. Also several other reappearances by key characters after the post credit scene.

A lot of the film just felt a little too comical, mainly due to the over the top cartoonish performance from Jason Mamoa. His character wasn't menacing and it seemed like he was doing a Joker impression. Then John Cena's interactions with Dom's son and of course the banter with Roman and Tej. It was simply too much and at times felt forced.

Fast X isn't terrible, has things working for it but also several flaws. Did not overly enjoy Fast 9 too much but think that was slightly better than Fast 10.
