Percy Jackson mixed with Indian Culture
Incredibly creative idea - a take on bringing Hinduism mixed with Indian mythology into the modern world. A bit like the Percy Jackson stories but creative in its own right.

The strengths of this movie included the music, energy in the cinematography, lovely filming locations, and intriguing premise. I look forward to seeing the next film.

Although the movie was enjoyable as a whole, the plot was a bit stitched together here and there with scenes feeling rather separate from each other. Additionally, the dialogue and chemistry between the two leads felt a little repetitive, less believable, and fell flat at times (mostly due to the writing). Nevertheless, for a superhero-esque action film, it was fun!

Potential is there, but pretty underwhelming.
Please don't be discouraged to watch this movie, despite all the negativity, there is a lot of potential present. Give it a shot and then form your opinions.

    Enjoy!!

What i didn't like about this movie was that, it felt very lacklustre. The visuals, the acting, the CGI was amazing, BUT the plot was severely underwhelming. This could have been an amazing movie if the plot matched with the premises. Moreover, TOOO much focus on the romance, no offence here, i love romance. I am a living, breathing hopeless romantic, however, romance without plot is pointless. I wish Isha had a better role and not just serve as an love interest, i wish we saw more depth in her beyond the gorgeous face of Alia. Overall, i hope next movie ( in 2026) we get to see a better developed plot.

The Hollywood movie shadows spoils the fun
RATED 6/10 Language: Hindi Source: Hotstar

The story, the adventure angles, great cameo, decent cast and colourful visuals are spoiled by the very weak story line and non-spicy screenplay.

The biggest problem of the movie is that it reminds all Hollywood action movies in each and every frame, especially from X-Men. The lack of originality is clearly visible.

Other than this point, it is watchable adventure flick. The first half works better than the second half. The second half becomes more templated and run off the mill. The second half CG work and colours also become so repetitive and not make any interesting point towards end.

Forget all Hollywood movies, it will be watchable once.

    One of the great
This movie is great in sense of vfx cgi Music and voice of Arijit Singh makes it much catchy Btw 10/10 from my side.

The only the thing is the lack of script and dialogues are weak like somewhere in a scene when mohan ( srk) Is fighting with zor he just do like Aaaaaaa Like wth idk was it supposed to be funny or what That's the only thing that was awkward but jokes aside this movie is great with some motivational Things like shiva is a very positive personality who seeks light whenever there is darkness in his life Love storyline id lil bit weak otherwise the Best i am expecting Hrithik Roshan as dev in part two!!

Only VFX is Appreciated otherwise Just Nonsense
Worst film I had ever seen in my life. Absolutely rubbish story, dumb and childish plot, totally waste of time. I think if you only switch off all logic from your mind before watching this movie then only you got entertainment otherwise a normal viewer can not tolerate what the nonsense ongoing in the screen. Kids will be enjoying to see the movie because there is so many flashing of lights and fighting scenes which is good to see, so definitely bring your kids to cinema hall. A big hats off and salute to makers of the film for showing their courage to create clueless film like this. It's a comedy show not a story.

We have already read this and seen this
I mean.. a evil powerful person has lost his powers.. he is in search of the strongest astra out there.. cheesy (extremely) love story and dialogs aside, sacrificing yourself for your love defeats all astras.. I mean we have read Harry Potter, and this seems like a Bollywood masala version of it.. the romance is just over the top and cringy.. the music by AR Rahman is sadly disappointing.. overall had to get done watching this much awaited movie. Maybe if the romance could've been toned down, and Harry Potter stolen concepts not used, this won't be so unbearable. Did have curiosity on who Dev is.. that did keep me on my seat, in vain though. Can't believe a part 2 will need to be watched for that.

Good Story & Visuals but faulty direction and acting
This film could've been 10 times better with a good director who knew his stuff. Film with this good story seems like child's play literally with myltiple redundant scenes wasting screen time and lead actors delivering monotonous dialogues.

A movie should never have single redundant frame or scene. Focusing on how a side actor is telling Shiva to run quickly, or despite the eminent dangers people are chilled out seems odd and botchy.

Dialogue deliveries especially between Alia and Ranbir are really pathetic. It literally feels like Alia mugged up the dialogue and delivered it with minimal emotion. Seemed like for each dialogue someone was prompting them from behind the screen.

Shahrukh and Amitabh Bacchan not used to full potential. Nagarjuna has forgotten Hindi tone after years.

I wonder how this would've fared if VFX effects hadn't been there.
