A Very Bad Movie
Everything about the movie sucked big time,it was rushed,the plot lines too loose,the character interaction genuinely bad and cringe,even the love story was so bad I had to shield my eyes,it was incredibly awkward and fake.
The only good thing about this movie was the fight sequence,that fight sequence portrayed reality and was flawlessly executed.
Apart for this,the whole movie was one giant mess,the guards were doing nothing,the plot was too predictable,the story so over used.
It's like a very bad version of blue beetle except even with resources the whole film was poorly written and didn't make any sense. - mojotre-213-855769 - 3 February 2024
I am incredibly forgiving of movies like this but a 2
I don't know the source material so I wasn't going to hate because of that. Saw the preview, included in Netflix. Wife had gone to bed so I gave it a watch.
I made it to the end so I debated between 3 and 2 as I started writing and ended with a 2 because too much did not make sense. Even some little things that didn't need to be inexplicable.
I think the biggest problem is the writing. Everything was disjointed. That should be the focus of every writer. You tie things together you get a minimum of a 4. The CGI didn't bother me at all so no deduction there. The known actors did fine but the lesser and unknown actors were sub par. Mostly I felt no connection to them or urgency for their plight.
I am going back to giving it a 3. A 2 is too low. Obviously they thought there would be sequels but not after this delivery. One and done. It doesn't deserve a sequel with this production crew. - zx-45892 - 3 December 2023
Acting was......
The acting is a cross between double dragon and avatar the last air bender the live movie version. The story was horrible and felt it should have been a series rather than a movie as everything was rushed. I try to watch everything at least the to give it a chance but this one be I know I won't be able to. Could have been done much better but just feels like most writers these days don't care about the topic and the writing shows. The writing feels like the old first generation power rangers. I feel bad for the actors like Sean Bean who actually did their job and acted good, along with the woman from x-men.
