    Super sports movie
The film is based on India's victory at the 1983 World Cup and boasts of a terrific cast. This is a real life story and for Indians this was a moment of pride

Ranveer lives as Kapil Dev. Not just in looks, but body language and suction too. He holds the entire movie together. And every other character including that of Cheeka played by Srikanth adds zing and excitement

Splendid acting & direction:The film makes you feel like a spectator sitting in a stadium and watching the iconic final match between India & West Indies at Lords! Prior to the final game, the "highs" & "lows", the "peaks" & "troughs" of the Indian team as they navigate their way through to the final game are very well captured. He has mastered Kapil's mannerisms, his strong Haryanvi accent, body language, pauses in his speech & the famous "Nataraja" shot. Jiva as Srikanth gives us enough moments of laughter mimicking his clumsiness, the characteristic eye blinking and his strong South Indian accent. Saquib plays the role of Jimmy Amarnath very well.

    Reigniting the love for cricket
I started watching cricket 🏏 in around the 2011 World Cup and I was so enthralled that I would watch every ball of every match going on I would note down all the players name and just play with my fantasy and I vividly remember those joyful and depressing nights depending on whether India wins or loses but since few years the interest has died down a bit cause Indian team is too strong now but watching this film instantly made me smile like a baby that classic underdog story but the only difference is that this is real the inclusion of real scenes and photos is magnificent that group photos of all teams just filled me up with goose bumps The actors are performing their best Ranvir Singh was at it he was very calming especial mention goes to chicka.

All the small stories that I have only heard about that journey when you see them happening you can only smile that 17/5 Sunil Gavaskar bad form and India beating West Indies in first match the fear of sir Vivian richards the pace battery of West Indies the modern times seriously lack a proper pace unit Their are many songs in this film but two songs when played they just hit you hard Jitega jitega and Lehra do omg such beautiful placement of songs I was about to cry I don't know why This movie will make you believe that you are in it to win it you have to watch this one if you ever loved cricket.
