One of the best thrillers out there
As far as thriller films go, this is a very good film. I'm very surprised it doesn't have a higher score! I'd definitely recommend this film.

There's twists and turns and it keeps you want to keep watching it, it's not boring and it has an actual storyline. Unlike other thriller films this film has a good plot throughout and a good ending. I've found films like this are very very hard to get right, very few films get the balance right - this film does.

There's enough character build up and no unnecessary scenes. This is definitely an underrated film. You genuinely care about the characters and want to know what's going to happen next.

It was alright until the end
A bit suspenseful and a good concept. A few things are a bit off, the family of our girl here seems to lack empathy. A few of her choices seem a bit off, I feel the writers may have rushed the story and could've thought of a more realistic situation. Most is forgivable up until our protagonist had the upper hand and chose to not defend herself leading into a very drawn out fight scene that was way more traumatic than it needed to be. Made the protagonist look stupid and just plain unrealistic. A few good twists but very disappointing ending for me. I feel the ending is the reason this movie didn't get a higher rating for most people.

It must have been written by an ape with brain damage.
Basic idea for a story: people stuck in a shelter under a snow storm. Somebody committed a crime. We don't know who.

Not very original, but enough room to build a decent thriller. IF, you have a few decent ideas and know how to write a storyline.

The way it was written: dreadful. The main advantage of a thriller story is not revealing who the culprit is until the last part. By minute 25 we already know who is the criminal. The spare hour of the film is a nonsensical "main character is dumb af" game. If, despite my sincere warnings, you decide to watch this junk movie anyway, you will spend the whole time wondering: "why is she doing such stupid things and making all the worst decisions?".

No connection with any of the characters, let alone the main. Too dumb, you want her to die as a payback for her stupidity.

At minute 40 the film was finished. How did they stretch it into theatre standard?

Pointless gore and unnecessary gross violence.

Avoid at all cost. They had a little budget for an indy movie, but lacked a story and decent ideas.

And people giving this a 10/10? Come on lads, get real. Either you're involved in the production of this crap, or you're blind.

    What happened?
Solid for about 30-40 minutes and then turned into a horribly written and awfully acted soap opera. It honestly felt like a spoof of a horror/thriller movie for the last 20-30 minutes. I'm thinking especially of the scene where Lars (David Rysdahl) gets shot in the head with a nail gun - which felt inspired by Happy Gilmore - and then slips on a puddle of blood (which we don't know where this blood came from) and falls and pushes the nail further into his head to kill him.

Also, sending one police officer to a potential murder scene with no backup... while this same officer was so scared to even shoot his gun that he shut down once he had to. One of the worst movies I've seen despite the promising start.

    Good but not strong
I don't watch usually thriller movies because they are all the same, even if the story is different, they all have the same style. And someone like me, who already watched hundreds of these movies, had enough of this style. But from time to time I watch a thriller or two, just to check if writers have changed their techniques, but unfortunately not.

No Exit, is one of those movies who are called thrillers, they might be good for some suspense, but you will definitely forget it after a while. Nothing really special about this movie, in the contrary, it is weak and doesn't have much to offer, it can even be fitted into 25 minutes short, not much. But as I said before, it is good for some suspense!

Watchable but not extraordinary survival thriller
This is a movie in the same vein as HUSH, DON'T BREATHE, GREEN ROOM, et cetera - those types of flicks. You know the drill! If you didn't care for these, then this most likely will not be your cup o' tea.

While it doesn't get as interesting as the latter two mentioned - it's a valid effort in thrills.

The acting is very decent. There are a few flaws that some cannot overlook, but these type of popcorn pictures aren't known for 100% accuracy of true life depictions.

I'm a lover of exploitation/cult/offbeat cinema and have no affiliation with the movie, as some people here will strangely think or claim, 😅 A fair rating to me would be a 5.7.
