    Feel good traditional heist movie
There's nothing wrong with this movie. Though not perfect, it's a rewatchable movie for sure.

The pros: voice actings are perfect. One I'm a fan of Sam rockwell but didn't know he was in this. So I was peasantly surprised when I heard the voice of wolf. The others are also spot on.

The animation is great, especially how they portray snakes movements. The story is good with enough twists (and there's a good number) keeps me on my edge.

    Never a boring time.

Hope there would be more characters but then it would have bloated the runtime. Story is also kinda predictable if you've seen enough heist movies.

    Eh
I do tend to give kid's films a bit more leeway in being predictable, but this one was a bridge too far. Like, you could call Pixar at its best, Puss in Boots 2, and maybe even some elements of the Spider-Verse movies somewhat predictable, but never too far, and never in a way where I ever really noticed or thought about such a thing; never to the point where such things stop the movies from being great. And with The Bad Guys, I don't think I would've minded the intensely formulaic plot had I found the whole thing a little more fun or more consistently funny, but most of the jokes didn't land (few chuckles here in there, but a few too many that fell flat).

It has a great premise, and there's a certain amount of edge to it at least early on for centring around a gang of thieves and being an animated kids film, but it loses steam fairly early on and ends up feeling passable at best after the first couple of scenes. The animation and voice-acting are elements worthy of praise, and there's sporadic entertainment value/humour here and there, but I was overall pretty disappointed with this one.

    Not Bad
The Bad Guys is worth watching and isn't a complete waste of your time. There are some intelligent characters present and they are very fun to watch and very likeable. I love the dialogues in this and it's not just stupid kid jokes though I really didn't like the fart thing with piranha, that was unnecessary and stupid. The movie surprised me, I expected a generic kids movie after the trailer but this surprisingly had some thought put into it. The action scenes are nice and the voice acting really brings it home. It does become somewhat predictable and straightforward towards the end but it's nothing that would turn people off the movie completely. Overall, a very nice family movie.

Visually fabulous and highly engaging, but lacking any sort of depth.
Firstly, the animation is absolutely phenomenal. I'm glad to see more companies are utilizing the spider-verse animation style instead of the overused pixar look. Also, this film has a really strong speed that makes the film very entertaining and engaging, especially the first act. It knows how to grab your attention and keep it for the entire runtime. However this film lacks any serious amount of depth in any of its characters or script. While this surpasses Disney/Pixar in animation, humor, and overall enjoyability from me, I think Disney/Pixar is still better at making something that also contains depth and often some really emotional moments. This film's extremely quick pace is part of the issue, as it rushes scenes that could've used more depth. I think this movie should've kept its first act as is, but slowed down in the second act and maybe add more to the overall script. I think the runtime should've been maybe 10 minutes longer.

    Fun heist film
An Ocean's 11 type gang composed of a fox, snake, tarantula, piranha and shark, has been pulling heists successfully. They decide to steal the Golden Dolphin award that is to be awarded to famous philanthropist guinea pig, Professor Marmalade. When they are caught, Fox makes a deal with Marmalade to reform them. Fox and company struggle through the lessons set up by Marmalade, lamenting the fact that their bad behavior is dictated by society's prejudice against their species. Would the gang really be able to reform?

Although rather predictable with a couple of twists, I found this movie quite entertaining.

The Bad Guys Felt Good to Watch
The Bad Guys was a bit of a treat. The animation style is fun and new, more like an animated painting than a drawing. There's plenty of action, and the comedy is on point pretty much every time, even for people who aren't kids. Each character gets the spotlight and shines through really well, and you get plenty of time with each. There's so many plot twists, which I feel like it was a little overwhelming, but it made the movie fun and surprising anyway. And while it was pretty predictable in some cases, I still found some things to be pretty fun and exciting. I definitely won't mind watching it again.
