    Feel good traditional heist movie
There's nothing wrong with this movie. Though not perfect, it's a rewatchable movie for sure.

The pros: voice actings are perfect. One I'm a fan of Sam rockwell but didn't know he was in this. So I was peasantly surprised when I heard the voice of wolf. The others are also spot on.

The animation is great, especially how they portray snakes movements. The story is good with enough twists (and there's a good number) keeps me on my edge.

    Never a boring time.

Hope there would be more characters but then it would have bloated the runtime. Story is also kinda predictable if you've seen enough heist movies.

    Eh
I do tend to give kid's films a bit more leeway in being predictable, but this one was a bridge too far. Like, you could call Pixar at its best, Puss in Boots 2, and maybe even some elements of the Spider-Verse movies somewhat predictable, but never too far, and never in a way where I ever really noticed or thought about such a thing; never to the point where such things stop the movies from being great. And with The Bad Guys, I don't think I would've minded the intensely formulaic plot had I found the whole thing a little more fun or more consistently funny, but most of the jokes didn't land (few chuckles here in there, but a few too many that fell flat).

It has a great premise, and there's a certain amount of edge to it at least early on for centring around a gang of thieves and being an animated kids film, but it loses steam fairly early on and ends up feeling passable at best after the first couple of scenes. The animation and voice-acting are elements worthy of praise, and there's sporadic entertainment value/humour here and there, but I was overall pretty disappointed with this one.
